3's a CHARM =)

3's a Charm right?
Excuse me...did I fall asleep? Explain to me how my 7lb newborn, became a whopping 38lb 3yr, practically overnight ? Incredible, I say. The pictures above are from Birthday One, Two, and Three. Oh and hahaha...I purchased the world's smallest cake. TIP: unless you know anything about cakes do NOT order one over the phone. See if you can find the tiny cake, in the picture to the left. This "Curious George" birthday cake, that was "suppose" to feed 25 people...seriously?

Happy Turkey Day

Turkey Day (as Liam called it) was complete this year. As you may know my brother share's Isaiah alternat weekends and Holidays with "Beth" so this year was OUR year. YAY! It just never feels complete without him. Plus someone in the family always has plans or other obligations, but not this year. So MY family and Luke's family all ate together =) This way the Grandparents don't have to share Liam. We are so lucky our families ajoin for an entire meal stress free. Amazing. Sadly... I did not get many picture's for evidence of this remarkable day ; (

Sillybutt

This is Liam before his bath lastnight. For some odd reason Liam can be a grouch ALL day but come bed time or dark even he becomes so ADHD. He ran laps through the house jumping over everything saying "Watch this!!" When it comes to actually using this towel for its actuall purpose, he wants nothing to do with the hood. Strange I thought. Sillybutt.

My Grandma

Shout out to my Grandmother aka "G G" her birthday was Tuesday, she turned 91. =) you go GIRL!! =)This was the Moyer family last year celebrating her big 90th. What a crew. I cannot believe a year has gone by already. These people mean so much to me and are so far away. = ( Holiday seasons always makes me miss them even more. My grandma is a wonderful vibrant woman who could run circles around most anyday.=) I wish her many, many, many, MANY more birthdays to come. I would love for Liam to get to know her better. Mush, mush, mush, sap, sap, sap, better stop before I cry. ; )...love you, G G!

!

Leslee...hope you like =)

Drum rolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll..............ta da!!!! Here she is my New/Old trunk. I love it. This wall is in bad shape (the little tiny G on the wall, is not there for real I was goofing..) SO now, my newest quest is for something to put above this trunk. Tons of ideas...I guess...I will know when I see it. By the way Liam's new/old bunk beds are done being painted RED and he loves them.= ) Yay, Mommy. I need to post those as well.

Happy Fall

I dressed the boys up last Saturday and took them to the woods!! That sounded creepy. heheh. What I was trying to accomplish was capturing some candid moments in the beautiful fall leaves. The most amazing leaves were all over town so I drove to few remote locations and had the boys get out and play. The sun was working against me that day and so were the height of some of the trees. The most beautiful leaves were way to tall to be the boys background so I did the best I could. So here is 4 out of 100. Maybe another photo session wouldn't hurt, since practice does make perfect. This photography thing is fun. =)

Trash or Treasures?

Trash or treasures? is the question. I was donated these items from a family member (on Luke's side of the family) in hopes I could transform these things into something I could actually use for my house. Well the mirrors have me stumped? Help...what to do?what to do? The legs do come off, by the way. Next the rectangle item is...yes...you guessed it... A trunk. I love the trunk, just not sure what color to go with? I love earth tones, but I thought this could use a "POP" of color? What do you think? Last but not least the shelves. FYI: I just painted two other wooden shelves chocolate brown, so I wanted to do something a little different to these three. I would love your opinion Amanda & Leslee ; ) Anyone else is welcome. =)

Boys

Where do kids get these things?? Today, Liam asked me "Why do girls go to his BOY school?"," Why don't they go to their OWN school!?!?" ... Where in the world? That was random, school was yesterday?? He loves girls... so I had thought? Parris is his bestfiend, & I am his favorite.?. Do you think boys really are born like this? Or it is because there are 9 GIRLS and only 4 boys in his class? hhhmmmmmm????I may never know?...boys... gotta love them. =)

Aren't they a HOOT?

Thought I would post my Dad's birthday cupcakes I made. Usually, I do not get crafty in the kitchen but these little OWLs are too cute and easy. Yummy too =)

Trick or treat?

Trick or Treat? Not this year. Liam had a Halloween parade at school last week. The kids got all dressed up and then walked to a local dentist office right by the school. This was such a fun thing to watch. I planned so hard for this day, but I managed to leave the battery to my camera at home. So disappointing. =( I got a picture when we got home. Little did I know this would be the only time Liam would dress up. The day of Halloween Liam REFUSED to dress up (he said he "already did!") I never knew my kid would be such a Scrooge at Halloween. Should have figured last year he wasn't into it either. If he only knoew how dern cute he was all decked out. I guess next year Mommy or Daddy will have to wear a costume.

Sleepy head.

We are currently transitioning our computer room into Liam's new big boy bedroom. The computer room is much larger than his baby bed room. This process has taken longer than I had expected. The beds we are using were Luke's when he was a kid. Therefore the beds "bunk beds" needed some TLC. I went and bought some RED paint for these bad boys. The wood finish on these just were not my cup a tea. I finally finished painting the bare walls and finished ONE of the two beds. Lastnight we set the bed up and Liam got to sleep in his NEW, not quite finished yet big boy bed. (Just to be clear Liam has always slept in the bed with us, but has lately showed signs of interest in a bed of his own.) Anywhoo, here is a picture from lastnight of Liam sleeping. Bless he little bitty body.

CAMPING TRIP

Labor Day Weekend- The Grider's and The Pless family go camping, with our horses of coarse!! Good times.Good times. =) Liam and Parris entered the stick horse race and WON!! Well actually... all 5 kids won a ribbon and a whole dollar a piece!! woohoo!! We also rode actuall horses they loved that as well. There was a creek for the kido's to play in with Crawdaddy's which Liam referred to them as "crab apples" hhhmm??? Anyways, we had a lot of fun getting our feet wet. Isaiah got to camp with us for one night! That was exciting! We roasted wieners (hehehe) and made smores. I was the person with the camera glued to my face, don't want to miss a Kodak moment, you know??!! Here are a select few: Check out Parris's hat and boots! How cute is that!!??

OnStar anyone???

The past coulpe of weeks have flown by, with tons of action in between. Starting with Liam's school adventure's. A little seperation anxiety to report, but we are coming out strong. Liam cries every morning when I wake him up and says " No school , just sleep mama." ...Yesterday we arrived to the school/church parking lot he immediatly grabbed his back pack (with his chin quivering and lip puckered out) and began to walk inside. Up the stairs, straight to his classroom and with out a beat hangs his back pack and then begins to cry, it breaks my heart everytime. yesterday I told him we could go to the playground when I picked him up from school. Deal?... Deal. As soon is I picked him up we went straight to the Imagination Station.Hours of playing went by until, NAP TIME please!!! Anywhoo Liam and I gathered our belongings, told some other Mom's and kids from Liam's school goodbye (they just so happened to be there) and headed for the car. I proceeded to start the car it was very "HOT" outside, buckled Liam in his seat, pushed the lock button and shut the door!! YEAH PUSHED THE LOCK BUTTON!!! WHO DOES THAT???? ME!!! I DO!! I locked Liam in the car with it running.!!> Want me to BABYSIT??? I still can't get over this, but luckily the car was running and he did not burn up in the heat> A little panicing on Liam's behalf because he wasn't quite sure why Mommy would not get in the car and all of these people trying to help were peeking in the windows. Wow... what a day. My Dad was there in less than 5 minutes with a spare key to save the day!!! Thanks BOB!! Love you.

School

HelloO, let's see... ok I think it has been a few weeks so here is what has happend since.

Top of the list LIAM started pre-pre-pre-school. No I did not studder that is just how many pre's there would be. ;) It breaks my heart to see him grow so fast!!! He just really has started to TALK and I mean TALK. Before it was sounds dada, mama, baba, etc. then words start coming out, Daddy, Mommy,...then 2 words together then 3 words, 4 words 5words, now Liam sounds like little tiny grown-up. He loves to boss the dogs around. No no Kesey(Kelsey) don't do dat. Or I beweeve(believe) it's on the compooter(computer).Mommy, I think we shood go somewhere? It will be alwite(alright)? He love loves his Daddy, aka mine DADDY!mine dog, mine everything. He can be serious at times and I want to be silly and he will tell me to stop don't do that. Geeezzz...hoot I tell ya!

WOW... look who got off track here!!! I think I was going to talk about Liam going to school. Let's try this again. So far he has been 3 times. =) It has been an emotional rollercoaster for both of us. Liam does not like Mommy out of his sight. Which I love(95% of the time) but I fear it will worsen the longer we are home together. Therefor I have remained strong and put my feelings aside. All 3 times, I have had to leave him crying with his little lip stuck out!!! Talk about rough!!! Although everyday I pick up a perfectly happy & healthy child!!When I pick him up, he is so proud to see me and tell me what he did! Daddy got home and asked Liam "buddy did you go to school today?!?!" Liam reply's (in the most pitiful voice)"Yeah, Mommy weft me there." I wanted to die(you know what I mean)!! left me??? OMG...left... like I forgot him!! 2nd day Luke ask Liam the same question. Same response. 3rd day Luke rephrased his self "Liam? How was school today??". Poor Mommy =( Anyhow, All of these 2 year olds carry back packs, big ones. How cute is that? The teachers always send home something for the Mommy's. Scribbled pictures, hand prints and such. They also sing/dance, blow bubbles, finger paint, color, get stickers, playground time, story time, tons of toys to play with, not to forget snack time, learn shapes, numbers, colors, songs etc... Whatever they can fit in 3 hours. After the 1st day Liam thought he was SO BIG, he wanted to wear his back pack EVERYWHERE and show EVERYONE!! He truly really was proud of himself for going. Yeah and Mommy was proud of him too!! Here are a few picture i took from his 1st day and a few random from the past few weeks.

Counting Sheep

I can't sleep and I tried counting sheep, so this my plan B. My last blog was to be continued...so here has been what's happening around here since our terrible day last week. A little playing, playing, playing, pool action, shopping, playgrounds, playdates. Nothing too spectacular. Oh how could I forget LIAM and PARRIS made the FRONT page of the MANCHESTER, TN newspaper. That's right. Cutest kids in the city pool. haha. Pround parent moment. : )

And I too now give up. This blogger must be tired he will not post my picture's. I am not going to take it personal. Goodnight.

LONG DAY =0

Today felt like FOREVER. 3 kids, 3 yellow jacket stings, witness of redneck shooting stray dog with a B B gun. =( I am more than ready for bed. If tomorrow I wake up and forgot yesterday happend, that would be okay with me. Liam stepped in a nest of yellow jackets, he was stung 3 times. Talk about pitiful, I never want to go through that again!! Ok...I just dozed off for a second. Bed time. To be continued...
