Counting Sheep

I can't sleep and I tried counting sheep, so this my plan B. My last blog was to be continued...so here has been what's happening around here since our terrible day last week. A little playing, playing, playing, pool action, shopping, playgrounds, playdates. Nothing too spectacular. Oh how could I forget LIAM and PARRIS made the FRONT page of the MANCHESTER, TN newspaper. That's right. Cutest kids in the city pool. haha. Pround parent moment. : )

And I too now give up. This blogger must be tired he will not post my picture's. I am not going to take it personal. Goodnight.

LONG DAY =0

Today felt like FOREVER. 3 kids, 3 yellow jacket stings, witness of redneck shooting stray dog with a B B gun. =( I am more than ready for bed. If tomorrow I wake up and forgot yesterday happend, that would be okay with me. Liam stepped in a nest of yellow jackets, he was stung 3 times. Talk about pitiful, I never want to go through that again!! Ok...I just dozed off for a second. Bed time. To be continued...

Play trucks anyone?

Why can I not ever get myself to blog?? I think of hundreds of ideas during the day that I could blog about but I never get around to it. Maybe it is because I have a 2 1/2 year old that keeps me on my toes. He goes goes goes goes goes goes goes & goes non stop. The boy loves to play. Trucks, tractors, motorcycles (anything with an engine), drive his cadillac, F150 truck, or 4-wheeler powerwheels, play baseball, football, swim, ride bikes, ride real 4- wheelers, ruff up the dogs, wrestle, fight a.k.a "knuckle", jump, kick, run, make mud, look at airplanes and chase bugs and pet & sit on grandma T T's horses, swing, slide, skip, stroll or play in the sprinkler. Sometime we squeeze in food & water. Tonight is different Liam went to bed early!!! That means he is WORN out. I am pretty sure he did all of the above today. That is not unusual. He is a busy guy. God Love him!! He is the best. I don't know what I did without him. My little side kick. I am sooo lucky I have got to stay home with him. Everyday he learn's something new and I have been lucky enough to witness it all. Currently he seems to learn a new word everyday. He comes up with the funniest things to say. He is very honest, too honest. He likes to tell people " you gotta ugy (ugly) truck/car. So funny, but not. He will also tell you, if he thinks your pwetty (pretty). So sweet. I'm just glad he doesn't tell people they are ugly ; )

The past few months he has developed more and more of an interest in other kids. Before he only cared about Isaiah (my nephew) and Parris (my bestfriends little girl). Now he wants to know about all the kids he sees. Who they are? and What they are doing? and Where are they going? We go to the playground often, the neighborhood kids love Liam and play with him often, we also have playdates with a friend. The only problem is that I am ALWAYS by his side and that is the way he wants it. Liam is completly content as long as he knows im within reasonable reach. What will happen when he has to go to school all day? Total seperation anxiety? I have been advised to enroll him in a mother's day out program at a church in our town. I did some research and made my choice. Now this seems reasonable, 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. They learn numbers, letters, colors, shapes, sing songs and make crafts it is all very structured. Snacks and juice too. They help with potty training and give 3 strikes(warnings) before given a time-out. Sounds great right? I can go home and take a PEACEFUL shower, do laundry, vacuum, sit in 1 spot for 5 to 6 minutes if I want too!! Anything I want to do. The days are counting down to until this little "school" starts. Less than a month. I start to have a panic attack when I think about the idea. Someone other than family is going to be watching my baby!! I don't want to do this anymore! I know this will be good for both of us but it is going to be SO hard!!! =( Why do they have to grow up???? What am I going to do?? (I will slap anyone who says have another one>) that is not the answer I am looking for. =)
