So Long...

So much has been going on lately, I do not know where to begin? Maybe I will just go with the first that pops in my head, this could be dangerous... so let's see. =)
BTW...Unless you are completely bored beyond your mind DO NOT READ this post or you will miss seconds off of your life you could have used doing something productive other than reading this post...
AHEM...
Our beloved dog Kane was put to sleep. =( This dog was like a family member to us and we miss her very, very, much. Kane Grider was our 12yr old pit bull, the poor dog developed a terrible allergy causing her to scratch contently (causing her to bleed) She was absolutely miserable. My mother-in-law had been keeping her at her house since, that is where Kane had lived for so long. Resulting in my M-I-L to take Kane to the vet to get "treated" little did we ALL know, she was not coming back home. =(
I really would have like to bury her somewhere nearby. Not to sound crazy, I just LOVE DOGS. I cried like a little girl over this dog when I found out...so so sad. Luke bought her when she was a precious little puppy. I remember Luke going camping when she was a PUP and I got to keep her at my Mom and Dad's house, while he was away, Kane pooped on my pillow in the middle of the night ={ It was definitely a low point in my life. For fun I threw in a picture of her friends Terk and Luda...look how they miss her =(

I guess puppies and bed's do not mix? Shhheeew!! Anyways, she had been mans best friend ever since. She was very motherly, she helped raise my chihuahua Kelsey Grace, Terk ( our other PB also still living with M-I-L), Little Joe the M-I-L blue healer and Luda the male tea cup chihuahua. Now Terk and Luda are completely lost without thier momma Kane. She was a very intelligent dog. If you were sitting in "her seat" she would make you think she wanted outside so when you got up to let her outside she would jump in "her seat" before you could blink. ; ) She could be very stubborn. Her face could form a smile of delight, just at the right moment... everytime. She loved to be loved. This is one dog Luke and I will never forget. Liam actually gave Terk a big hug and said to him..."Terk, Luda...it is ok...Kane will be right back...tomorrow"

Don't Blink

If I could turn back time...
Oh my little boy has grown up so much!! A few weeks ago, I came across these photo's in a file that had not been opened in quite sometime. I almost cried because Liam was so little...goodness, where did the time go??? Now, I understand why Luke's Great Aunt told me ..."if my baby was ugly, I would have 10 of them."hahaha she thinks I am being stingy... hahaha she makes me laugh... I am so glad my BFF Karen is having a baby here soon, that way I can babysit when I want...and give him back...when I want. =) Baby is not on my agenda, for a while longer ; ) Liam is not ready to give up his spotlight and neither are Mommy and Daddy.

Snow Day

A miracle happened in Tennessee yesterday... we had SNOW!!! A few years ago this was not such a rare occurrence around here, but the "ole man upstairs" has been holding out, on some snow ; ) Liam has begged for snow, for quite sometime now and finally, he got his wish. We awoke to a beautiful snow outside, the ground, trees, cars, everything was solid white. Liam was ecstatic!! For once he got dressed without a battle, he willingly wore a jacket!! My kid does not like jackets or long sleeves so every morning this winter has been exhausting for us just to leave the house. Anyways, the snow was like a huge, cold sandbox (that you could eat) to Liam. Bulldozing, digging, and some "manual shoveling" took up most of our day =) Good memories.

My BFF

I was recently tagged by my friend Leslee; she requested me to... open the 4th picture file on my computer. Next, open the 4th picture in the file, and blog about it...

Never in a million years, would I have wanted to post this particular picture of myself,(yikes!) but what are friends for...right? Let the blogging begin...

Lindsay(left) & Becca (right) BFF's. The night this picture was taken was for Lindsay Wedding shower/pajama party. 10 or so girls stayed up all night eating and laughing until we could NOT stop. One of the best nights ever, I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did. A friend once told me that friends should have "soul mates friends". If this is true, I am positive Lindsay and I would be the first to know =) There is a clear understanding between us, that we are in it until the end. XOXO love love love you girly =)

Christmas

Christmas this year was smooth sailing. Liam became Santa's #1 fan this year. The joy of wathcing Liam and his cousin Isaiah open their gifts is a pricless memory. Having two little ones around, really amplifies the Christmas spirit. The 2 boys fill a hole, none of us had known before
existed.(I didn't anyway) Isaiah got to spend some overdue quality time with the Moyer side (which is always sought after.) He is the glue to our family =)
This year I also discoverd, Santa was the most effective form of disclipine, I have found for Liam. (laugh)... Santa's WATCHING!! Fabulous. If time could stand still. I hope next year will be this much fun.

3's a CHARM =)

3's a Charm right?
Excuse me...did I fall asleep? Explain to me how my 7lb newborn, became a whopping 38lb 3yr, practically overnight ? Incredible, I say. The pictures above are from Birthday One, Two, and Three. Oh and hahaha...I purchased the world's smallest cake. TIP: unless you know anything about cakes do NOT order one over the phone. See if you can find the tiny cake, in the picture to the left. This "Curious George" birthday cake, that was "suppose" to feed 25 people...seriously?

Happy Turkey Day

Turkey Day (as Liam called it) was complete this year. As you may know my brother share's Isaiah alternat weekends and Holidays with "Beth" so this year was OUR year. YAY! It just never feels complete without him. Plus someone in the family always has plans or other obligations, but not this year. So MY family and Luke's family all ate together =) This way the Grandparents don't have to share Liam. We are so lucky our families ajoin for an entire meal stress free. Amazing. Sadly... I did not get many picture's for evidence of this remarkable day ; (
